In, 2006 CCAD bought a spacious, 1920s auto dealership and warehouse at the corner of Broad Street and Cleveland Avenue and converted it into studios, classrooms, and offices. Renamed the CCAD Design Studios on Broad houses the MindMarket, first-year CORE classes, Fashion Design, and the MFA program. It is also the backdrop for campus events including the Annual Senior Fashion Show, a glamorous fundraiser for scholarships. The fashion show evening includes a red-carpet photo shoot, a high-style runway show, a glitzy après-runway party with VIP lounge, and more that 800 guests. All in all it’s the premiere spring fashion event in Columbus. (Columbus College of Art and Design)
